Alan Ellis Olivenstein M.D. F.A.C.C. , age 62, of Murrysville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 6, 2018. He was born August 10, 1955 in New York City, New York, son of Roslyn Silbert Olivenstein of New York and the late Martin Olivenstein.

He was a cardiologist in the Pittsburgh area for nearly 30 years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jilma “Maia” Miranda Olivenstein of Murrysville; two sons, Jared (Sarah) Olivenstein and Aaron (Rachel) Olivenstein; two grandchildren, Penelope and Asher and two grandchildren on the way. Alan is also survived by a sister, Dale (Abe) Zelmanowicz.

Funeral services for Alan will be held privately with his family at the Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville. Alan’s family would like to thank everyone for their support and condolences at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Alan’s name.
