Obituary for Dorothy Mosley (Hubbard) Dorothy Hubbard Mosley, 81, passed away at her home in Coffeeville on Saturday, September 15, 2018. Born February 9, 1937 in Big Creek, she was the daughter of the late Richmond Sydney Hubbard and the late Mary Miller Hubbard. Dorothy graduated from Calhoun City High School in 1955, and was a member of Bruce First Baptist Church.
On January 18, 1956, she married the love of her life, Billy Sam Mosley, and they have spent 62 wonderful years together. She loved working with her hands, especially quilting, cross-stitching or painting. She loved to garden and spent many hours tending to her flowers and taking care of her hummingbirds.
She also loved to make cakes and decorate them, even winning several awards for her work. Above all else, her family meant the most to her. She truly cherished her children and grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but they find comfort in knowing they will be united again someday. Pryor Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family. There will be a visitation on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at the Pryor Funeral Home.
Immediately following visitation we will proceed to Pleasant Hill Cemetery where there will be a Graveside service. Bro. Jim Vance will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Chris Bennett, Mac Brasher, Jay Clanton, Sammy McGreger, Jason White, and Joey Hastings. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Alford, Bobby Chrestman, Kenneth Park, Alan Potts, Duke Hutchens, and Neil Paul.
