E T Threat, May 08, 1923 — June 30, 2018

Obituary for Mr. E. T. Threat Brother E. T. Threat was called home early Saturday morning. He heard the Lord call his name and said your work is complete my faithful servant, It’s time to take your leave. Brother E. T. Threat Brother E. T. Threat was born to Archie and Gussie Threat in Geneva, Alabama on May 8, 1923 where he was one of six children.

He received his education in Alabama and soon after joined the U. S. Army where he served in the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II. After his discharge he came to Florida to find work, where he met and fell in love with Louise Irvin. They were soon married and shared a life together for sixty-one years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Gussie Threat, his wife Louise Threat, two daughters, Aricie Threat Broxton and Voliazzo Threat Hester and one grandson, Keith Broxton. To This Union Came Five Wonderful Children, four of whom are left to mourn his passing; Gerald Threat (Sherry) of Ocoee, Florida, Sophia Threat (Charles) of Tavares, Florida, Floyd Threat of Arizona, Miguel Threat (Cynthia) of Groveland, Florida and Clermont, Florida; one sister-in-law, Henrietta Irvin of Miami, Florida; two brothers-in-law, Eddie Irvin (Sussie Mae) of Groveland, Florida, Alphonso Irvin of Miami, Florida; thirteen grandchildren, Evette Gordon, Freddrick, Derrick, Denise Broxton, all of Alabama, Sheila Harris of Indiana, Shemekia Threat of Orlando, Florida, Nikisha McClain (Jason) of Tavares, Florida, Persius Threat of Jacksonville, Florida, Alphonso Bryant of Belle Glade, Florida, Dante Liebeskind of Germany, Kia Threat of Groveland, Florida, Ihisha Threat of Tavares, Florida, Mykah Jester of Phoenix, Arizona; fifteen great grandchildren; six great, great grandchildren; three great, great, great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
