Edith Banks Wimbish May 25, 1920 – January 10, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Edith Banks Robertson Wimbish, 98, of 122 Wimbish Pl. , Danville, VA passed away, Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Douglasville, GA Born May 25, 1920 in Danville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Clinton Forest Robertson and Mary Virginia Lee Robertson. Edith was the last of her generation.

Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Banks of Washington, DC; two sons, Thomas Banks, Jr. of Danville, VA, Alvin Banks of Triangle, VA; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two daughters, Susie Banks Grasty and Lena Jenkins; three sisters, LouEllen Russell, OraMae Carter and Ercil Walton; one brother, Herbert Robertson and one grandchild, Calvin Banks. Family will receive friends at the residence.
