Obituary for William Everett Daniel Sr. William Everett Daniel, Sr., 91, died Monday, December 31, 2018 at Sovah Health of Danville. He had been a resident of the Riverside Health and Rehab Center for the past 15 years. Born in Brunswick County, VA, on September 12, 1927 he was a son of the late Everett Owen Daniel and Rena Saunders Daniel.

He lived most of his life in the Glenwood community of Danville and graduated from Dan River High School. He retired from Dan River Mills where he worked in the weave room. He attended St. Mark Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Mr. Daniel was first married to Juanita Hodges Daniel. After her death, he married Helen Snead Daniel. She died on December 19, 1998.

In addition to his wives, he was predeceased by two brothers, Michael Lewis Daniel and Raymond Daniel. Survivors include two sons, William Everett Daniel, Jr., of Danville, VA, Nathaniel Keith Daniel, of Wilmington, NC; a step son, Ernest Snead; a brother, Lewis Daniel, of Danville; a half-brother, David Daniel, of Danville; seven grandchildren, including Robin Barbour, of Danville; and ten great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
