Steve Allen Lawson, 67, of Danville, VA, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at his residence. Mr. Lawson was born in Danville, VA on March 23, 1951, a son of the late Roy Milbert Lawson and the late Elaine Smith Lawson. He is survived by three sons, Justin Lawson, Dustin Lawson, and Allen Wann; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Higgins and Susan Hopkins; and two brothers, Johnny Lawson and Marvin Motley.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Mike Lawson and Randy Lawson; and a sister, Linda Milam. Funeral service will he held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the graveside in Mt. View Cemetery.
