Mildred Corbett Burnett September 30, 1941 – December 29, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mildred “Millie” Corbett Burnett, 77, of 149 Executive Court, Danville, VA, passed away, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Brookdale Danville Piedmont, Danville, VA. Born September 30, 1941 in Caswell County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Elder Willis Corbett and Addie Byrd Corbett. She was married to the late Roy Burnett.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter, Shena L. Chambers (Chester); five grandchildren, Candice Neighbors (Sammy), Lauren Brown, Chester G. Chambers, III, Douglas Leon Chambers, and Joshua Brown; one great-grandson, Bryson Carter Brown; one brother, James Corbett (Helen) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her oldest daughter, Beverly Oliver; a son, James G. Brown. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home with Rev.

Frederick D. Noel, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Burnett family.
