Born June 29, 1942 in South Boston, VA, she was the daughter of the late Laura Ruth Furges. She was married to Clarence Ballou.

Survivors include one daughter, Monica Ballou of Monroe, NY and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced once completed. Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Ballou family.
