Born June 15, 1939 in Danville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Roosevelt and Annie L. Giles. Survivors include one son Walter C. Washington, Jr. of San Diego, CA; one sister, Mabel Giles Doggett of Danville, VA; one brother, Samuel Washington Giles of Atlantic City, NJ and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by one daughter, Caroline Denise Washington and one sister, Gladys Nelson. Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced once completed. Online condolences may be submitted to www.
