Obituary for Edward “Gene” Eugene Yager Edward “Gene” Eugene Yager, 69, of Eutawville, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his residence. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 11 o’clock to 12 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A Memorial service will begin at 12 o’clock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 269 Calhoun St. Charleston, SC 29401. Gene was born on October 26, 1949 in Saint Louis, MO, son of the late Robert and Marie Yager. He enjoyed fishing.

Most of all he loved his family, friends and caring for others. Survivors include: one son: Dustin Yager (Cortney) of Summerville; one daughter: Valerie Reaves (Thelburt) of Summerville; two grandchildren and one on the way; one sister: Rose Glover (Gene); multiple nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother: Bob Yager.
