Obituary for EDWARD CHEVRETTE Edward Paul Chevrette, 62, of Hwy. M-35, Palmer, passed away at his home Friday morning, September 21, 2018. Ed was born September 24, 1955 in Ishpeming to Lyle J. ‘Ninny’ and Jacquelene A. (Tossava) Krachey and attended St. Paul school in Negaunee, Gwinn schools and completed his education in Kenosha, WI.

Edward worked numerous years for Chrysler in both Kenosha, WI and Plymouth, MN working in both the plant and as a warehouseman. He retired in 2002 due to medical issues. Ed married Debbie M. Jackelen on May 11, 2002 and together they moved to Palmer.

In his spare time, Ed enjoyed country music and enjoyed Disc Jockeying at parties and wedding receptions. A talented mechanic, he could build a car from scratch. Edward was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

Surviving are his loving wife, Debbie Chevrette of Palmer; two daughters, Jess Chevrette of New Richmond, WI and Angie (Kurt) Chevrette-Cypher of Palmer; two brothers, Lyle (Laurie) and Timmy (Laura) Chevrette; five sisters: Marcia, Cheryl and Kate Chevrette, Kristine (Stan) Master and Beth (Brian) Statema; five grandchildren: Tanner, Taya, Taylor, Hope and Emilyn; a great-granddaughter, Cienna; special friend, Mike Gerou; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 27th at Koskey Funeral Home, Negaunee.

The family will also greet relatives and friends immediately following services at the Negaunee Township Hall for a pot-luck style luncheon.
