Obituary for Edward Greene II Edward Richard Greene, II, 67, of Battle Creek, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Bronson Battle Creek. He was born January 10, 1951 in Battle Creek, the son of Edward M. and Jacqueline (Haire) Greene. Ed served in the U.S. Marine Corp.

during the Vietnam War. He had worked for Clark Equip Co. until they shut down and then started working for Kellogg Co. Ed retired from Kellogg’s after 25 years of service. He married Lori Klunzinger on April 13, 2018 in Battle Creek.

He was a member of the Kellogg 25 year club, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and AA. He loved every genre of music and going to concerts. Ed was an avid sports fan and MSU fan.

He enjoyed hunting, salmon fishing, and reading. Ed was always the life of the party and could carry on a conversation with anyone. He was quick witted and could quickly bring you to a smile.

Ed was an easy going man, who made you feel like you’d been friends forever. He is survived by his wife, Lori; children, Edward J. (Melissa) Greene, Courtney (Matthew) Frantz, Graham (Elizabeth) Greene, and Carney Greene; grandchildren, Kaleb, Victoria, Alyssa, and Gabriel; sister, Roxanne Casler; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Karen Johnson; and brother-in-law, David Casler.

A committal service with military honors will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery on June 26, 2018 at 2:30 PM sharp. Memorial donations may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous Al-Anon on East Michigan Avenue in Battle Creek.
