Obituary for Eileen E. Emch Eileen E. (Klotzle) Emch, 83, of Rittman, died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her daughter Mary’s home surrounded by her family. She was born May 17, 1934 in Sardis, Ohio to the late John and Irma (Imhoff) Klotzle. She married David Emch in 1953.
They were happily married for 62 years. She was a devoted wife and the mother of five children: Craig (Gale) of Sterling, Carol (Don) Powell of Rittman, Bev (Jeff) Hartzler of Sterling, Dana of Wooster, and Mary (Jon) Hartzler of Rittman; eleven grandchildren Bryan (Amber) Emch, John (Noreen) Emch, Melanie Emch, Stephen (Vindy) Powell, Rachel (Austin) Gerber, Julie (Ryan) Steiner, Michael Hartzler, Brad (Tami) Hartzler, Claudia Hartzler, Cruz Hartzler, Chase Hartzler, and fifteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Inez Ramsier (Robert, deceased), Betty (Walt) Marquart of Rittman, brother Harold (Lou) Klotzle of Ravenna, sisters-in law Jane Klotzle (Irwin, deceased) and Mary Jane Winkler (Glenn, deceased) of Rittman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Irwin Klotzle, infant granddaughter Holly Emch, step-brother Herbert (Ruth) Hilty. In 1954 she turned her life over to Christ and thereafter served her Lord faithfully for 64 years. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Rittman.
Her Christian faith and family were always her first priority. In addition to being a homemaker she worked as a nurse at the Apostolic Christian Home for 39 years. Services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 10:30am at the Apostolic Christian Church, 10699 Steiner Rd.
, Rittman, OH with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be at the Apostolic Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 9 pm on Wednesday, April 25 at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, OH and from 9:30 to 10:15 am on Thursday at the church.
