Eileen Marie Devine, 78, of Friendsville, MD, died Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, WV. Born September 19, 1940, in Accident, MD, she was the daughter of the late Elra Galen and Jessie Marie (Rush) Resh. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Devine; two brothers, Francis “Donnie” Resh and Galen “Spud” Resh; and one sister, Judy Friend.

Mrs. Devine was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Ray (Tina) Devine, Accident; one daughter, Carolyn (Dale Jones) Devine, El Cajon, CA; four granddaughters, Shannon (Sal Saucedo) Ray Self, Oceanside CA; Tara Lee (Brian) Schlosnagle, Tanya (J.C. Hixon) Ray Devine and Tori Ann Devine; one great-granddaughter, Maren Marie Schlosnagle; and her Pekinese, Annie. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave.

, Friendsville, on Sunday, February 3, 2019, from 3-5 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Teats officiating. Interment will be in the St. Paul Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
