Marie Ault (Glotfelty) Brenneman, 85, of Accident, MD, died Sunday, March 10, 2019, at her residence. Born August 13, 1933, in Oakland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Schrilla Marie (Ault) Glotfelty. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Andrew “Andy” Brenneman; three sisters, Maxine Skipper, Loretta Opel and Lorene Bowman.

Mrs. Brenneman worked for the Garrett Co. Board of Education for 34 years as a teaching assistant at the Grantsville Elementary School. She is survived by three sons, Keith (Liza) Brenneman, Mt. Airy, MD; Roger (Mary Jane) Brenneman, Grantsville, MD; Stephen Brenneman, Accident; one sister, Jane (Pete) Johnson, Kingwood, WV; three grandchildren, Kacey (Russ) Austin, Khris (Kyersten) Brenneman and Olivia Grace Brenneman; three great-grandchildren, Adalyn Austin, Joshua Austin and Samantha Brenneman.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted in the Bittinger Cemetery on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Donny Hinkle officiating.
