Kimberly Lynn (Elsey) Bauer, 52, of Mt. Lake Park, MD, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at her home. Born August 29, 1966, in Annapolis, MD, she was the daughter of the late Robert Paul and Darlene Louise (Sparrow) Elsey.

Kimberly worked as a manager at KFC and Taco Bell. She enjoyed making crafts. Kimberly was a loving mother and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, James H. Bauer, Sr.; one son, James H. Bauer, Jr., Deer Park, MD; three daughters, Christina V. Burton and husband, Chuck, Salisbury, MD; Ashley E. Powell and husband, Aaron, Oakland, MD; Peggy A. Hertzog, Oakland; one brother, Brian P. Elsey, North Port, FL; four grandchildren, Trinity, Cameron, Joy and Derrick. Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Dr., Oakland, MD, 21550 on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At Kimberly’s request, she will be cremated following visitation.
