Marion Elizabeth Ringler, 93, of Salisbury, PA, died Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, MD. Born December 5, 1925, in Addison Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late William C. & Gertrude Elizabeth (Henry) Twombly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. “Ted” Ringler; one daughter, Lucinda E. Ringler; one son, Barron E. Ringler; one grandson, Jody Bodes; eight brothers, William, Clifford, Russell, Lester, Delbert, Warren, Donald and Melvin Twombly and one sister, Melva Wildemann.

Mrs. Ringler was a homemaker and member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was also a lifetime member of Walker-Harris Post 8826, VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by three sons, Darwin E. Ringler and wife, Roni, Frostburg, MD; Charles E. Ringler and Bryan E. Ringler and wife, Terry, all of Salisbury; one daughter, Kathy E. Bodes and husband, Sandy, Springs; one sister, Faye Jean Romesburg, Addison, PA; seven grandchildren; Todd Ringler and wife, Deb Thompson, Jeffrey Bodes, Nicki Ringler-Goodwin and husband, Donnie, Amanda Wiltrout and husband, Bill, Timothy Ringler, Casey Ringler and Corey Ringler and six great-grandchildren, Brandon Bodes, Tristan Wiltrout, Gavin Wiltrout, Simon Ringler, Ava Wiltrout and Aidan Wiltrout.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy, Salisbury, on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at 11:00 am with the Rev. Edward Devore officiating.

Interment will be in Salisbury Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. John’s Lutheran Church. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
