Shirley J. Brinegar, 81, of Salisbury, PA, died Monday, March 4, 2019, at her residence. Born September 17, 1937, in Jennings, MD, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Leattie (Berkey) Stein. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Allan Brinegar; one son, Gregory Brinegar; three brothers, Roy, Sylvan and Frank Stein; four sisters, Lena Mason, Ruth Eisentrout, Marguerite Deal and Verna Twombly.

Mrs. Brinegar was a caregiver for Paul’s Personal Care Home and worked at the Grantsville Senior Center. She was a member of the Jennings Church of God. She is survived by one son, Dean (Paula) Brinegar, Salisbury, PA; one daughter, Sherry (William) Miller, Uniontown, OH; one sister, Wilda Mason, Grantsville, MD; four grandchildren, Trisha Ann (Kevin) Broadwater, Ryan (Mary) Miller, Nicholas (Samantha) Soltis and Brad (Kayla) Brinegar; and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Ferguson officiating. Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery.
