ELLEN L. ANDERSON May 29, 1935 – February 20, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen L. Anderson, 83, of Vidalia, LA will be held Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 11:00am from the Zion Baptist Church, 601 North Magnolia Street in Vidalia. Burial will follow at the Whitehall Cemetery in Vidalia. Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 9am to service time at the church.

Mrs. Anderson, a daughter of Louvenia Anderson was born in Vidalia and died at her residence. She is survived by one daughter, Cassandra Lynch of Vidalia; one son, Aaron Anderson and his wife, Matilda of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters, Ruby Davis and Elnora Albert both of Vidalia; a niece raised as her sister, Helen Ellis Lloyd of Vidalia. Also four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents; two brothers, John Woodard and Isom Woodward; four sisters, Eloise Turner, Leola Ellis, Anna Mae Brown and Florida M. Reese; a special aunt, Vinnie Jones. As beautiful as a rose to see, was her life she lived so gracefully. She made things precious by her touch.

Her selfless love lives on in each of us. The petals of her life fell one by one, each a gift of her heart.
