Elsie Patala Cenegy, 92, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, formally of Perth Amboy on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Cedar Brook Nursing Home, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Elsie was a lifelong resident of Perth Amboy, before moving to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for the last 5 years. She was employed by Madienform, Perth Amboy for 25 years as a Supervisor.

She retired in 1966. She was a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, Holy Trinity Seniors, Holy Trinity Rosary Society and the George Otlowski Citizens League. She is preceeded in death by her beloved husbands Adam Zavorsky and Louis Cenegy; loving mother of Jesse Zavorsky; dear daughter of Frank and Veronica ( nee Zboya ) Patala; sister of Rev.

Frank, Rev. William and Edward Patala; her dearest friend Harold Augustine. She is survived by her beloved children Noreen Zavorsky and her companion Mary Bradley, Lisa Schumera and her companion Greg Zdanowicz, William and his wife Stephany Cenegy; precious grandchildren Frank Schumera Jr., William Jr. and Victoria Cenegy.

We begin to leave on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 8:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a funeral mass at 9 am at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Holy Trinity Church. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Visiting is on Wednesday from 4 ~ 8 pm.
