Obituary for Emily Ann Porfidio RICHMOND, Ind. – Emily Ann Porfidio, age 34, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 20, 2018, at her home. Born December 28, 1983, in Richmond, Indiana, to Joseph T. and Kristy J. Miller Porfidio, Emily lived in Wayne County most of her life.

She was a 2001 graduate of Union County High School, where she enjoyed playing on the volleyball team and competing at the state tournament. Emily was free-spirited, mischievous, and had a heart of gold. She was a homemaker and had a passion for animals.

Emily will be greatly missed. Survivors include her mother, Kristy J. Porfidio of Richmond; sisters, Sarah Porfidio and Rachel (Steve) Nicholson, both of Richmond; brother, Joseph Cottman of Richmond; boyfriend, Eric Stinson; beloved niece and nephew, Aaliyah and Darius Porfidio-Brown; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and, we can’t forget, dogs Marley, Tank, and Biscuit. She was preceded in death by her father; grandfather, Martin Miller; great-grandmother, Anna Campbell; and aunt, Kelly Mooney.

A memorial service for Emily Ann Porfidio will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Condolences may be sent to the family via the guest book at www.
