Obituary for Linda Kay James RICHMOND, Ind. – Linda Kay James, age 78, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Golden Living Center-Golden Rule. Born July 22, 1940, in Winchester, Indiana, to Ralph and Reba Haisley Reece, Linda was a life-long resident of Richmond.

She was a graduate of Richmond High School. Linda was a very dedicated member of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church, having served as a deacon and sung in the choir. She loved watching soap operas and sports.

Survivors include her sons, Michael (Jennifer) King and Paul King, both of Richmond; grandsons, Brandon and Tyler King; great-granddaughters, Ava and Sophia King; sisters, Donna Owens of Richmond and Nina Landers of Kentucky; brother, Jim Reece of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul King Sr.; second husband, Leslie James; daughter, Melinda King; parents; and brother, John Reece. Visitation for Linda Kay James will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor John H. Hollis officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family via the guest book at www.
