Obituary for Emma May Clem-Wickett Emma M. Clem-Wickett, age 86, of Richmond, Indiana, died Thursday, October 18, 2018, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born April 3, 1932, in Estill County, Kentucky, to Henry M. and Bessie M. Snowden Clem, Emma lived in this community most of her life. She retired after 37 years of service from Perfect Circle/Dana Corporation, where she was a member of the Perfect Circle 25 Year Club.

Emma had also been the Community Service Director at United Way of Whitewater Valley for five years. She was a member of Centerville Christian Church and a charter member of UAW Local 279. Emma volunteered for and served on many community service committees, including the 1986 All-American City Committee.

She enjoyed traveling. Survivors include her son, Bart (Darlene Kemp) Brammer of Nashville, Tennessee; stepchildren, Mark (Sandy) Polver and John (Marie) Polver, both of Richmond, and Mike (Jen) Polver of Alpharetta, Georgia; granddaughters, Angela (Brian) Porter of Indianapolis, Indiana, Renee (James Allen) Clevenger of Bloomington, Indiana, and Sara (Jerry) Sonheim of Bedford, Indiana; step-grandchildren, Todd (Rhonda) Polver of Jefferson, Texas, Angie (Scott) Livesay of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Andrew (Miranda) Polver and Colin Polver, both of Richmond; several great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sister, Nella Young of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Wickett, who died October 15, 2016; parents; daughter-in-law, Janine Brammer; sisters, Lou Alice Harrison and Allie Dean Noel; and brothers, Lance Brook, Asa, Edmond, and Orville Clem.

Visitation for Emma M. Clem-Wickett will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Chaplain Rick Alvey officiating.
