Obituary for Paul Jeffrey Pickering MANCELONA, Mich. – Paul Jeffrey Pickering, age 57, formerly of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, Michigan. Born September 28, 1960, in Richmond, Indiana, to Joseph F. and Doris Gard Pickering, Paul attended Northeastern High School.

He was a U.S. Army veteran. Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, and spending time with friends. Survivors include his sisters, Diana (Max) Jeffrey of Mooresville, Indiana, and Phyllis Camden, Paula (Steve) Orsborn, and Cindy (Bill) Heiber, all of Richmond; brothers, Larry, Jerry, Randy, Keith (Kim), and Jason Pickering, all of Richmond, David Pickering of Centerville, Indiana, and Tim Pickering of Bethel, Indiana; friend/brother, Tim Camden of Bethel, Indiana; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Karen Beth Pickering; and brother, James Pickering. Visitation for Paul Jeffrey Pickering will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Joel McIntyre officiating.

Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery Veterans Field of Honor with military honors provided by the Wayne County Honor Guard.
