Emmanuel “Tiny” Ozro Cook November 23, 1932 – December 14, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Funeral services for Emmanuel Ozro “Tiny” Cook, age 86, of Shelbyville, will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, December 18, 2018, in the chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Wheel Cemetery. Mr. Cook passed from this life December 14, 2018, at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, TN after an extended illness.

Visitation will be held prior to funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Born November 23, 1932, in the “18th” Wheel Community, he was the son of the late Bennie Ozro and Francis Vermette Cook and was preceded in death by: wife of 50+ years Anne Canady Cook; children, Ben Cook, and Kim Cates; and sisters, Gracey Cleek and Margie Leverette. Tiny was a hardworking and loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He retired in 1994, as an iron worker for AEDC after 22 years of employment, and farmed raising beef cattle throughout his life. He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar, he was a member of the Jack Daniels Band for many years and was a former member of the Freemasons (20 years). Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Survivors include: grandson, Corey (Savannah) Cates of Shelbyville; great grandchildren, Hunter and Daniel Cates; and companion, Sally Magoric of Hillsboro. Doak-Howell Funeral Home is serving the family. www.
