Obituary for Eric D. Mapps Eric D. Mapps, Of Kingsford, passed away on October 23, 2018. He was born in Marquette, MI, son of the late Cathy-Jean and David Mapps. He leaves behind his brother Jesse DiFiori; Sister in law Sakita Florek; Niece, Serenity Sue DiFiori; Aunt, Donna-Lee DeFiore; also by an uncle Frasier Kranz and two cousins, Ashley and Gary Kranz.

Eric was a very free spirited person and a lover of 1980’s Rock and Roll. He almost even lived in the 80’s. Eric was a kindhearted person and loved helping anyone he could.

He was a very proud uncle to Serenity and would always light up as something new went on in her life. He will be greatly missed. Celebration of life services will be held for Eric on Saturday, Nov.

10th at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints (2001 Woodward Ave. Kingsford) at 1:00pm. It will be followed by a pot luck luncheon.
