Obituary for Evelyn June Baxter Evelyn June Baxter, 90, of Wassaic, NY, left her body on Monday, September 17, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. Mrs. Baxter was a retired chef of 44 yrs. She was an advocate and senior companion volunteer @ TDDSO for 23 years.

Born on June 17, 1928 in Ossining, NY, she was the daughter of the late Franz Daniel and Ethel Grace (Travis) Kirstein, Sr. In addition to her parents she is predeceased in death by David Robert Baxter, Freda Anne Sheats, Lisa Marie Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Kirstein, Franz Daniel Kirstein, Jr. and two nieces. Evelyn is survived by her children, Bette Jo Baxter, Mr. & Mrs. Warren Kishbaugh, Mr. & Mrs. Edward Kishbaugh, Mr. & Mrs. Gloria Papelian, 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. Surviving siblings, Mrs. Shirley Knapp, Mr & Mrs. Charles Kirstein, Sr., Mrs. Joyce Cassetta, 7 nieces and 7 nephews.

A Celebration of Life to honor Evelyn will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the VFW Post# 5444, 3422 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY.
