Fernando’s Obituary Fernando Garza, 47 years old, went home to be with the Lord May 27, 2019 at Valley Baptist Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born January 16, 1973 in Harlingen, Texas to Ramon and Maria Margarita Garza. Fernando worked as a truck in the trucking industry all his life.

He leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memory his loving wife of 22 years, Angelina Garza, two daughters, Magdalena Cantu (Samuel Cantu), America Obregon (Josue Obregon), four grandchildren, Samara Cantu, Samuel Fernando Cantu, Aileen Obregon, and Maria Fernanda Obregon and several brothers and sisters, numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 30, 2019 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a prayer of the holy Rosary to begin at 7 pm in the evening. Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday May 31, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Deacon Gerardo Aguilar as celebrant.

Burial will follow to La Capilla Cemetery in La Feria. Honored to be his pallbearers will be Samuel Cantu, Josue Obregon, Isabel Garza, Rey Ramon Garza, Angel Rangel, Jose Ramon Garza, Ray Garza, Cosmo Garza and Domingo Maldonado.
