Fleur’s Obituary Fleur Wilkins Lee, 86 of Jesup, died Monday, January 28, 2019. The Johnson County native lived most of her adult life in Wayne County, was a member of Jesup Presbyterian Church and a retired educator, teaching mainly at T. G. Ritch and Jesup Elementary Schools. She had a full and enjoyable life.

Some of her hobbies included hiking the entire Georgia Appalachian Trail, gardening, fishing and eating her catch. She also enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends and any beauty associated with God’s creation. She was predeceased by her husbands, Joe Wilkins, Jr. and Bennett Lee; a daughter, Teresa Wilkiins; parents, Ranzie and Susie Bell Powell; a sister, Ann Kiley and half-sister, Catherine Snell.

Survivors are two daughters, Jeanne (Charlie) Hinson, Pam Wilkins, both of Jesup; two grandchildren, Charlie (Kim) Hinson of Odum and Niki (Curtis) Rowell of Jesup; 4 great grandchildren, Jordan Rachel, Chase, Jase and Camren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Jesup Presbyterian Church with Pastor Pete Ullmann officiating. Interment will be in the Jesup City Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be her family. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Hospice of South Georgia. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jesup Presbyterian Church, 297 South Brunswick Street, Jesup, Ga. 31546 or Hospice of South Georgia, 1425 Sunset Blvd. , Jesup, Ga.
