Buck’s Obituary Iris Lee “Buck” Bishop, 85 of Jesup, died Thursday, February 7, 2019 at his residence. He was a member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church and a retiree of Rayonier. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and all of his friends.

Survivors are his wife of 48 years, Daisy Westberry Bishop of Jesup; a son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Jada Bishop of Jesup; grandson, Ashton Tyre of Jesup and many extended relatives. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, February 9, 2019 at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Horne and Rev. Calvin Anderson officiating.

Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Clem Collins, Ricky Jones, Al Copeland, Alvin Westberry, Jay Leggett and Wayne Oliver. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Pye, Warren Beverly and George Roberson.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM, Friday, February 8, 2019 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to New Hope Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1240 New Hope Hope Road, Jesup, Ga. 31545.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
