Thomas’ Obituary Thomas O. Mager, 89, of Jesup and formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, died Monday, February 4, 2019. The Pennsylvania native was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a retired employee with General Electric Company and was an avid golfer and bridge player with Pine Forest Country Club friends.

He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Survivors are his wife of 63 years, Betty Lou Mager of Jesup; daughters and sons-in-law, Denise (Dr. Gregory) Bittner of Allison Park, Pennsylvania, Marcy (David) Rosswog of Valencia, Pennsylvania, and Dr. Sandra Mager (Andrew Wetherington) of Jesup; 7 grandchildren, Jaclyn Bloom, Brian Rosswog, Tara Lucki, Robyn Turner, Dr. Michael Bittner, Drew and Dylan Wetherington; 7 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 8, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Keith O’Neill officiating.

Family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, 1625 Sunset Blvd. , Jesup, GA 31545.

Interment and funeral service will follow in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania. Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
