Terry’s Obituary Terry D. “Farm Boy” Harris, 60 of Jesup died Thursday, March 21, 2019 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia. The Wayne County native was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a former mechanic and trucker. He loved to fish, work with metal and spend time outdoors with his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, Julian and Effie Sikes Harris; two brothers, Robert and Phillip Harris; 4 sisters, Dot Westberry, Betty Maske, Leccy Nail and Mary Ivey. Survivors are his wife of 36 years, Sandra Harris of Jesup; 3 daughters, Sonja (Neil) Palmer of Macon, Jessica Harris of Jesup and Terri (Bruce) Jackson of Screven; 3 sons, Johnny Manning, Jay ( Sierra) Harris, both of Jesup, Kevin (Christie) Manning; adopted in love son, Malcom Hatcher of Jesup; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, a sister, Pat (Benny) Darsey of Jesup; a brother, David (Carolyn) Harris of Screven; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2 PM, Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev.

Stanley Todd and Charlie Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Flint Branch Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bruce Jackson, Jr., Gene Lane, Wesley Sumner, Richard Wilson, Mike Carpenter and Ricky Fulton.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, staff of Hospice of South Georgia, Shellie Harter and Stella Hutcheson of Altamaha Home Health. Visitation will be 5 to 7 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at funeral home. Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup, Ga.
