Obituary for Florence J. Franco Florence J. Franco, 96, a longtime resident of Dobbs Ferry passed away peacefully on November 11, 2018. Born and raised in New Rochelle, she was the daughter of Pasquale and Theresa Pento. Florence married her beloved Joseph J. Franco, Sr on July 11, 1942 in New Rochelle.

They settled in Dobbs Ferry in 1961 and continued raising their family. Florence was an administrative assistant for the Bank of NY in Harrison for many years. She was a kind and gentle women, who treasured the time she spent with her family.

Florence was a devoted wife, loving mother and caring grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed. Florence is survived by her children Marie “Mary Ann” Campanaro, Joseph J. (Marie) Franco, Jr and Theresa (William) DiVico, 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her siblings Michalina Carbone, Josephine Colangelo, Mary Sposato and Frank Pento. Florence was predeceased by her husband Joseph J. Franco, Sr and by her son-in-law Alfonso Campanaro. Mass of the Resurrection Wednesday 9:30am Sacred Heart Church, Dobbs Ferry.
