Frances Mae Evans, 79, formerly of Slatington,passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Homer P. Evans, in 2016. Frances was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Frances is survived by her four sons: Bruce and wife Renee, Douglas and wife Kim, Daryl and wife Mary and Michael; Grandchildren: Brett, Kyle, Nicole, Josiah, Julianna, Micah, Bethany, Keegan, and Zoe; Great-Grandchildren: Anthony, Nicholas, and Gianna; Siblings: Betty Deibert, Brenda Deibert and Larry Markell. She was predeceased by sister Molly Wertman, and brother Donald Markell. Services for Frances are private and under the direction of Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.

Contributions in her name are suggested to the Slatington Public Library, 650 Main Street, Slatington PA 18080.
