Obituary for Frances Kessel Frances H. Kessel, 95, of South Charleston went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Tender Heart Care Home, South Charleston. She was born at New Kensington, PA. to the late William and Mary Hessom.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd R. Kessel; daughter, Gwen Dolby; son, Floyd R. Kessel, Jr; and sister, Bernice Walsh and several step brothers and sisters. Frances was a purchasing manager for the Kanawha County Board Education for over 25 years. She was a Life member of St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, South Charleston Surviving is her loving son, Kelly S. Kessel of South Charleston; grandchildren, Erica Kessel of Barnesville, Ohio, Matt and Maria Dolby of Herndon, VA; special nieces, Marysue Rosen of New York City and Kate Smyers of MA.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, November 26, 2018 at Cunningham Memorial Park, Upper Mausoleum Chapel, St. Albans with Pastor Jamie Strickler officiating. The family would like to give a very special thanks to Tender Heart Care Home for all their love and care that they gave Frances during her time of illness. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, In Memory Of Frances H. Kessel, 900 Lawndale Lane, Charleston, WV 25314.
