Fred Lewis Morgan , 78, of Salisbury, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his home in Salisbury. He was born September 6, 1940 in Jamestown, NY to the late Howard and Sue Farley Morgan. Fred was a member of the Apostolic Christian Missions, and aVeteran of the United States Navy.

He loved spreading the word of our Lord, and traveling across the country with his wife Roxanne. In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Morgan. Fred is survived by his wife Roxanne Morgan, whom he married on January 15, 1983; daughters, Cass Griffith and husband Jon, and Rachael Gomillion and husband Jordan; sons, Jay Morgan, Ben Morgan, and Josh Morgan; grandsons, Eli, Luke, Alexander, and Blake; brother, Howard Morgan; and sister-in-law, Pat Morgan.

The graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd. , Salisbury, NC 28144, with military graveside rites provided by the United States Navy and the Rowan County Veterans Honor Guard. Powles Staton Funeral Home of Rockwell, honored provider of Veterans Funeral Care, is assisting the Morgan family.
