Gary Curtis Hollobaugh Sr. 74 of Blairsville passed away Friday May 4, 2018 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. He was born March 8, 1944 in Latrobe, Pa. the son of the late Harold E. (Sr.

) and Gladys I. Daughenbaugh Hollobaugh. Before his retirement in 2006 he was employed by Latrobe Airo Die Casting as a metal fabricator for twenty-five years and Westmoreland County Foodbank for fifteen years. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Latrobe.

Gary was also a member of the Cooperstown Club and the White house Club also in Latrobe. Gary liked hunting, fishing, playing Bingo, gambling, cutting grass, working outside, and mostly, spending time with his family. He will always be remembered as a “jokester”.

He is survived by his companion, Geraldine E. Sigafoes, two sons; Gary C. “Hooch” Hollobaugh and his wife Lori of Dilltown, and Doug R. Hollobaugh and his wife Nora of Harrisburg, a step-son Jay A. Lickenfelt and his companion Denise of New Alexandria, seven grandchildren; Jayson (Jackie) Lickenfelt, Justin (Sheri) Lickenfelt, Kristie (Ken) Elliott, Susan (Jake) Sauers, Ben (Emily) Hollobaugh, Jordan Hollobaugh and Brandon Hollobaugh, ten great grandchildren; Cody, Ashley, Autumn, Jayson “JJ”, Brooke, Camryn, Dalton, Ryder, Rudy and Chase, a sister Denise Hollobaugh, four brothers; Terry L. Daughenbaugh (Nina), Ted “Teddy” Hollobaugh, Richard Hollobaugh (Melissa) and Joseph Hollobaugh, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Harold, and Neil Hollobaugh, and four sisters; Leslie Heasley, Sharon Bogle, Lorna Treager, and Jody Henry. At Gary’s request all services will be private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 400 Indiana Ave. Avonmore.
