Andrew V. “Andy” Parks, 33, of Parks Township passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018. Born on October 23, 1984 in New Kensington he was a son of John “Jack” E. and Betsy D. (Lookabaugh) Parks of Parks Township. Andy was a 2002 graduate of Kiski Area High School and then went to the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Orlando, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ellis and Mary Parks; Aunt, Lori Sheaffer; cousins, Tommy Parks and Travis Parks.

In addition to his parents, Andy is survived by his sons, Gatlin A. and Gage A. Parks of Parks Township; sister, Brenda (Jeremy) Hassett of Plum; maternal grandparents, Vearl “Pete” and Dorothy (Martin) Lookabaugh of Burrell Township; nieces, Evangeline and Aria Hassett of Plum and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 5-7 pm in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Avenue, Apollo. Funeral services will he held at the funeral home immediately following the visitation on Tuesday at 7:00 pm with Pastor Barbara Love officiating.

Private burial in Brick Church Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions in Andy’s memory be made to his sons in care of Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 100 Owens View Ave. Apollo, PA 15613.
