Hayley Raelyn Townsend, 25, of Spring Church, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 1, 2018. Born September 30, 1992 in Kittanning, she was a daughter of Scott & Ethel (Johns) Townsend of Spring Church. Hayley attended Leechburg High School and graduated from Lenape Vo Tech.

Over the years, she worked as a waitress at Creekside Diner, as a cook at Dob-Bros Country Kitchen, and as a health aide at QLS- West Haven Manor. Hayley enjoyed playing volleyball, and singing. She… Read More » was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Harry Johns; and an aunt, Lorie Ann Townsend.

In addition to her parents Scott & Ethel, Hayley is survived by her sister, Shiloh Townsend of Spring Church; paternal grandparents, Carol (Ed) Townsend of Spring Church; maternal grandmother, Gerri (Ray) Rosenberger of Kittanning; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved pet Husky, Masia. At the family’s request, all services are private, and have been entrusted to the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions made to a charity of ones choice in Hayley’s memory.
