Judith Rae “Judy” (Stitt) Kereszturi, 77, of West Leechburg, passed gently away on Friday, July 13, 2018 in VNA Hospice, Butler, PA. Born on September 12, 1940 in Tarentum, she and her twin sister, Joan, were daughter’s of the late Ray and Mildred (Russell) Stittt. Judy was a 1958 graduate of Leechburg High School and graduated from the New Kensington Business School in 1959.

She lived most of her life in West Leechburg. Throughout her life Judy had various jobs, but her… Read More » favorite role was being the very best mom and “Nana”. She loved every moment she could spend with her family.

She adored her three boys and husband. Judy was the first president of the Leechburg Little League Association. One of her favorite pastimes was hanging out with dear friends at the Marconi Club of Leechburg.

where she could be found playing Bocce Wednesday nights. She lived with joy and passion in every endeavor she pursued. Judy fought a very hard battle.

By far, she is one of the strongest souls we will ever encounter. She loved like no other. Her thoughtfulness and selflessness can be observed easily by seeing how she lives on through her family.

This incredible woman was a “mom” to many people. Her sparkle and shine will endure forever. She was preceded in death by her parents, her dear, husband, Louis Kereszturi, Jr. in 2012, a great niece, Alexis Cherotti and her beloved cat “Nooks”.

Survivors include her 3 sons, Bradley (Andrea) Kereszturi of West Leechburg, Douglas (Bethany) Kereszturi of North Carolina, and Todd (Elizabeth) Kereszturi of Ohio; grandchildren, Tanner, Brayden, Jenna, and Kendal; her twin sister, Joan (John) Cherotti of Florida, nieces and nephews, Tracy, Timothy, Carrie and Kevin and many loving cousins, and friends. Please join the family on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services 300 Market St. Leechburg. A Celebration of Life will be held following the visitation at 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.

The family encourages sharing of memories. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family request’s memorial contributions be made in Judy’s memory to the charity of ones choice.
