Josephine D. Rebyanski, 97, of North Apollo, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 in Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot. Born April 26 1921 in Homer City, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Rosa (Mileto) Lamanna. Josephine lived in the Apollo area all of her life.

She was a primarily a homemaker, in her younger years she was employed as a clerk at the Brownstown General Store and a laborer at the Pitcarin Railyards during WWII. In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Rebyanski on October 23, 1983, brothers; Anthony, Joseph, Carmen, Michael, Frank Lamanna, Anthony Brunetta and a sister, Rose Richey. She is survived by her daughter, Michele (John) Nestor of Valencia, brother; Eugene (Ruth) Bruenetta of Grand Rapids, MN, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Avenue, Apollo.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon Thursday, July 19, 2018 in St. James Roman Catholic Church, Apollo with Father Vincent Zidek, O.S.B. as celebrant. Private burial will take place in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Josephine’s memory to the Saxonburg Area Library 240 W. Main St. Saxonburg, PA 16056.
