Eugene P. “Chisel” Raschiatore, 93, of Vandergrift, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 while visiting his loving daughter in Harrisburg. Born March 30, 1925 in Vandergrift, he was the son of the late Francesco and Domenica Raschiatore and a friend to all. Chisel lived in Vandergrift all his life, and was a graduate of Vandergrift High School.

He was the owner and operator of Chisel’s Holland Inn for more than 40 years known for his wings, pepperoni sandwiches and oldies dances until his retirement.

In addition to his parents, Chisel was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche (Lionelli) Raschiatore, seven brothers and one sister. He is survived by his daughter, Mauria R. (Gregg) Matthews of Harrisburg, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 2:00-4:00pm and from 6:00-8:00pm in the Brady-Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 429 Franklin Avenue, Vandergrift, where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10:00AM.

Entombment in Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Chisel’s memory to a charity of your choice.
