Arthur B. Chero, 81, of Leechburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Born December 28, 1936 in Vandergrift, he was a son of the late Joseph Chero & Elizabeth (Butch) Chero. Arthur was a graduate of Vandergrift High School, and obtained his Master’s Degree in Political Science from I.U.P., with additional classes at the University of Pittsburgh.

In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his daughter, Gabrielle Ashley Wytiaz, who passed away in 2005; and his sisters, Philomena “Natchie” Newhouse, Beatrice Tarosky, and Eleanor Boyer. Arthur is survived by his wife, Stella L. (Grosso) Chero; son, Michael J. Chero of Huntingdon, PA; grandchildren, Samantha & Sean; great-grandson, Skyler; and several nieces and nephews. At Arthur’s request, all services are private, and have been entrusted to the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Leechburg, PA.

The family’s suggests Memorial Contributions be made to a charity of one’s choice in Arthur’s memory.
