Thomas L. “Tom” Flaminio, Jr., 80, of Saltsburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the residence of his daughter Terry in Young Township. Born February 16, 1938 in Saltsburg, he was a son of the late Thomas & Julia (Antenucci) Flaminio, Sr He was a graduate of Saltsburg High School, attended Kiski Prep as a Post Grad, and attended Carnegie Mellon University for two years.

Tom was a member of Saltsburg Presbyterian Church, and member of the Saltsburg Historical Society.

He enjoyed reading, and working on cross word and Sudoku puzzles. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marvyl M. (Heimberger) Flaminio, who passed away on September 9, 2009; and his brother, Rocco L. Flaminio. He is survived by his daughters, Terry L. (Edward) Wargo of Young Township, Kathleen (Mark Lutz) Flaminio of Erie; granddaughters, Mackenzie M. & Samantha N. Wargo of Homer City; brother, Herman (Frieda) Flaminio of Wexford; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 2-4 P.M.to 6-8 P.M. in the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 701 Salt St. Saltsburg. Services will take place Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in Saltsburg Presbyterian Church, 517 Salt St. Saltsburg with Pastor Dan Satler officiating. Interment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg where military honors will be accorded by the Saltsburg American Legion Honor Guard.
