Christina (Hudock) Homzuk, 84, of Allegheny Township, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at QLS- West Haven Manor, Washington Township. Born July 16, 1934 in Irwin, she was a daughter of the late Steve & Clara (Facini) Hudock. Christina lived in Allegheny Township since 1950, and was a 1952 graduate of Penn Township High School.

She worked as a cook at the former St. James Catholic School, and was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church. Christina enjoyed… Read More » traveling with her husband Leo to Florida and Canada. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Leo J. Homzuk, Jr., who passed away on March 19, 2015; sisters, Clara Byzek, Mary Ellen Hudock; and her brother-in-law: Charles Wayne Tragesser, Sr. Christina is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Leo J. Homzuk; granddaughter, Chrissy of Norfolk, VA; loving sister, Gloria Tragesser of Murrysville; dear brother-in-law, Joseph Byzek of Irwin.

She was a precious Aunt to her nieces and nephews, Joseph Byzek, Mary Ann Fabian, Dr. Charles (Christine) Tragesser, Jr.; her goddaughter and niece, Roslyn (Dr. Terrence) Zipfel; and many great nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave. , Apollo, on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12:00 Noon in St. James Roman Catholic Church, Apollo, with Father Vincent Zidek, O.S.B. as celebrant.

Entombment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. The family would like to acknowledge the staff at QLS West Haven for the love and support they provided to Christina and their family.
