Theresa Rose (Collela) DeLuca, 94, of Saltsburg, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 in William Penn Care Center, Jeannette, PA. Born February 26, 1924 in Lucerne Mines, she was the daughter of the late Loretto and Loretta (Camerdase) Collela. Theresa was a graduate of Elders-Ridge High School and lived in Saltsburg area all her life.

She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, sewing, and gardening. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren… Read More » with a passion. Theresa was a member of St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society of the church in Saltsburg, and the Avonmore Italian Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Angelo DeLuca-June 16, 2017; sisters, Carmella Bononi; Clara Laezza; Frances Prenni; Mary Dominck; and a grandson-in-law, Ralph Doran. Theresa is survived by her children, Joseph (Maureen) DeLuca of Gainsville, FL; Nicholas (Linda) DeLuca of Saltsburg; Anita (Gary) Wylie of Saltsburg; Caroline Curran of Saltsburg; grandchildren, Nickie Doran; Tammy Barton; Anthony and Andrew Wylie; Katie DeLuca; Megan Dorsch; Michael Curran; great grandchildren, Ella and Benjamin Wylie; Margaret and John Dorsch; and Brinley Curran. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services 701 Salt St. Saltsburg, PA.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 10 A.M. in St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church 703 Indiana Ave. Saltsburg, PA with Father John Harrold as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery.
