Lois J. (Wigle) Bush, 94, of Kiski Township, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in QLS-West Haven Manor, Washington Township. Born January 12, 1924 in Apollo, she was the daughter of the late Frank “Earl” and Grace Irene (Riggle) Wigle. Lois lived in Apollo most of her life, and was a graduate of Apollo High School.

She was a hairdresser and a mail carrier in Apollo in her earlier years. Lois later co-owned and operated Glenn Bush Ford until her retirement. She was a member… Read More » of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Apollo.

Lois enjoyed traveling, baking, cooking, shopping and playing bingo. She loved to entertain family, and most of all, spend time with her beloved grand and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Bush, Sr.; sons, Glenn R. Bush, Jr., who passed away on February 28, 2008; Roger A. Bush, who passed away on November 22, 2014; grandson, Michael Bush in 1998; and a brother, John E. Wigle, Sr. Lois is survived by her daughter-in-law, Cynthia Bush of Kiski Township; grandchildren, Jessica (Tony) Aslanian of Orlando, FL; Jason (Dara) Bush of Kiski Township; Kenneth (Christa) Bush of Bell Towsnhip; Kelly (William) Leonard of Columbus, OH; Taylor (Chip) Bullard of Myrtle Beach; great grandchildren, Tyler (Cayla) Moore; Cameron and Abby Bush; Michael and Catherine Aslanian; Andrew and Alex Leonard; and Julie and Lindsay Bush.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 100 Owens View Ave. Apollo. Services will take place Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the First Evangelical Lutheran Church 214 N. Pennsylvania Ave.

Apollo, PA, 15613 with Pastor Phil Ramsted officiating. Everyone please meet at the Church. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lois’ memory to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church at the above address.
