Mark Pacuch, 55, of the Kepple Hill section of Vandergrift, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at AHN- Canonsburg Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born April 28, 1963 in Tarentum, he was the son of the late Frank & Eleanor (Stancik) Pacuch. Mark was a 1984 graduate of the Martin School in New Kensington, and was employed for 30 years at the Progressive Workshop in Armstrong County in Kittanning.

He also attended Evergreen Homes, Inc., as well as Lifesteps… Read More » in West Kittanning, and was a member of Our Lady Queen Of Peace Catholic Church, East Vandergrift. Mark never met a stranger, and welcomed every opportunity to make a new friend. He gave the best hugs and kisses and his goodbyes were long and legendary.

As a self-proclaimed “party boy”, Mark enjoyed spending time with his family celebrating holidays, weddings, birthdays, and anything involving food, fun, and piggies. Mark enjoyed dancing and listening to music, especially polkas. He had an artistic flair, and his favorite past time was coloring.

Mark loved bowling, bingo, festivals, restaurants, and vacations to Connecticut. He loved life and gave joy to everyone who crossed his path. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother, David Pacuch.

He is survived by his sisters, Carol (Thomas) Conboy of Baldwin, Judith Pacuch of Greentree, Rebecca Woods, with whom he made he his home in Vandergrift, Bernadette (Jerry “PIA”) Chieffalo of Easton, CT; nephews, Robert (Dawnmarie) Conboy, Joshua (Amy) Woods; nieces, Melissa (Brian) Bittner, Jessica Woods; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, and cousins. Friends will be received on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Brady-Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. Parting prayers of transfer will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady Queen Of Peace Catholic Church in East Vandergrift, with Father John Euker as celebrant. Mark will be buried in between his parents in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.

In lieu of flowers, the family request with gratitude, those wishing can make a Memorial Contributions to Mark’s former place of employment, Progressive Workshop, 301 Oak Ave. , Kittanning, PA 16201 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1100 Liberty Ave. , Suite E201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
