Evelyn Mae Mash (Jakosh) 5/26/35 – 7/20/18 Saltsburg PA born Iselin PA Evelyn went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 7/20/18 at 3:05PM. Evelyn’s transition was peaceful, at home with her loving husband Jack of nearly 60years and her youngest son Gary by her side. Anyone that knew Evelyn knew that she always had a smile on her lips, a book in her hand and the name of Jesus on her tongue.

Evelyn was a housewife and mother to 3 children: Jack, Linda and Gary. Home cooked meals, fresh baked pies and home sewn clothes were the norm. Evelyn was involved in her children and community by serving as den mother to cub scouts and brownie troops alike.

(This allowed me to attend cub scouts and Jack to sit in on brownie meetings long before it was politically correct) Evelyn’s legacy is one of Love, Generosity, Individualism and Faith. Her laugh was infectious and could light up the very atmosphere. Joy followed her wherever she was.

She encouraged many in their Christian faith. Heaven is richer for her presence and the earths shine is a bit dimmer for her absence. She will be missed.

Evelyn is survived by her husband Jack Mash, son Jack Mash, daughter Linda Mash Bruzda, son Gary Mash, and sister Vivian Jakosh Rolling. Evelyn did not wish to have a service. Be kind to one another, we are here but a short time.
