T-Vola Jean (Hoch) Fryer Shoop, 82, of Vandergrift, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in AHN- Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. Born December 24, 1935 in Indiana, PA, she was a daughter of the late King and Mary (Honrner) Hoch. T-Vola was a graduate of Indiana High School, and lived in Vandergrift most of her life.

In addition to her parents; T-Vola was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Ralph Fryer; son, Bradley Fryer; daughter, Ronna (Fryer) Palumbo and a brother, Lee Hoch. Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Kay N. Shoop of Vandergrift; grandsons, Bradley (Leslie) Fryer of Melwood, Nathan (Ashley) Fryer of Tannersville, PA; granddaughters, Jennifer (Josh) Long of Warren, PA, Christy(fiancé Todd Feerst) Palumbo of Monroeville, Alexis (fiancé Joe Mego) Palumbo of Brackenridge, PA; 7 great grandchildren: David, Finnigen, Addison, Levi, Noah, Franky, Landon; brother, Len (Joan) Hoch of Murrysville; step-son, Kelly (Michele) Shoop of Brackenridge; step-daughters, Kathy (Robert) Knell of East Vandergrift and Sherry (Gary) Cassity of Orange, VA; three nephews, and a niece. Friends will be received on Friday, June 8th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Avenue, Apollo.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 9th at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Lee Rupert officiating. Private interment in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo, at the convenience of the family. The family suggest memorial contributions be made in T-Vola’s memory be made to the American Heart Association, 444 Liberty Avenue, Ste.
